Every now and then I have to post this video about giving hope for parents of severely autistic children and hope for kids with Autism. There is a human being inside that body who wants to learn and get out of their shell. Just watch this video and you will see. My postulate (self created truth) is that my son Andy will someday give a speech like this.

Leaving Napa Valley view of Calistoga from hwy 29 before we started the curvy road. I felt like Mario Andretti in my 2011 legacy tearing up the curves while I thought Wendi was sleeping. No, she was in complete glee laying down flat almost ready to puke from all the wine and curves I was taking. So, I had to cool it and slow down and take it easy the rest of the way and promise to not take the back roads and long way home next time. LOL (Taken with instagram)

In a wine cave at Bella Cave Winery. This winery had awesome Zins and we learned how to pair a cauliflower cream soup and a Pinot Noir. WOW. Then to top it off we had these chocolate peanut butter cups from Trader Joe’s that went with their Zin Dessert wine. OMG can you say SWEET. Needless to say we left with a few bottles and will be back for more. They have a waiting list for their wine club and don’t sell wholesale. (Taken with instagram)

The Bear Republic is known for its Racer 5 however they have several speciality beers that you can only buy there. We tasted all of them in a sampler spread. Good stuff.

Wine tasting some Pinot Noir at Truett Hurst. This place has incredible scenery and grounds. They have quite a garden and a cool trail down to the river where they have 3 patios with Red Adirondack Chairs which you can sit out and taste their wine. Definitely get their Pinot Noir.
